Founder & owner, Kelly Legare, began paper forest design in 2014 to honor her passion for design, fashion, interiors, art and travel. Which all came together with a focus on weddings & residential interiors.

It is of utmost importance for Kelly & her team to lead clients through the design approach & planning process with intentionality, heart and mindfulness.

We are the eyes and ears of the industry and the design world, and are highly attuned to creating with longevity in mind, rather than just being of the moment or the trend. We prefer to carve our own path in collaboration with our clients and partners while paying proper homage to the surroundings and nature. With a taste-making vision and nuanced creativity, we are all-in on cultivating a tailored & thoughtful experience through & through.

Over the course of several years, Kelly’s path always lead back to immersing herself in a creative environment. She deepened her connection with art & design in college, graduating with a fine art degree, living abroad in Europe, and working for a woman- owned art gallery as well as textile designer. Collaborating with creative women who owned small businesses was a driving force behind wanting to follow in those foot steps.

In 2020, Kelly launched a collection of natural gifts to bring her aesthetic into a more tangible form, with a range of gifts suitable for corporate, clients, weddings/events & personal.

Kelly attended the University of Colorado and graduated with a BA in Fine Arts. She is married to her husband Nick and mother of two children, Wells & Holland.
